Privacy notice

Astrospot is a personal, non-commercial project by Alessandro, an independent developer. This notice explains what happens to your data on this website and on the waitlist. In short: only what is needed, used only to tell you when the app launches, never sold.

Who is responsible

What is collected

• Waitlist: your email address and, only if you choose to answer, your level, your phone type and your country.
• Anti-spam check: when you use the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks in your browser that you are a person and not a bot. It processes technical data such as your IP address and browser signals for this check only.
• Visits: anonymous, cookie-free statistics (number of visits, pages, countries) through Cloudflare Web Analytics. They do not identify you.

Why, and on what basis

• To email you when Astrospot launches, and to understand who is interested (for example how many beginners or iPhone users). Legal basis: your consent, given with the checkbox and confirmed by clicking the link in the confirmation email.
• To protect the form from spam and keep the site running. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a secure service.

Who receives it

• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France, EU): stores the waitlist and sends the emails.
• Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.): hosts this website, runs the anti-spam check and the anonymous statistics. Some processing may take place outside the EU, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your data is never sold or shared with anyone else.

How long

• If you do not confirm your email, you are not added to the list.
• If you unsubscribe (link in every email), you are removed from the list at once. Brevo only keeps a record that this address must not be emailed again.
• The whole list is deleted 12 months after the launch of the app, or 24 months after you signed up if the app has not launched by then.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and withdraw your consent, at any time: write to[email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Cookies

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
